Since it's Labor Day, this is a reminder you could post something today to remind your friends of your hard work you've put in training for this race.

Hook of the Week
What's a hook?
A hook is the opening moment of a video or caption designed to stop the scroll on social and make someone want to keep watching. This is your one-second pitch for the viewer to continue watching. It can be text on screen, a visual, or both and it makes all the difference between someone watching or swiping past.
This week's hook:
Here's a simple tips to support both me and [your charity]. Donate and you'll help support [your charity's mission] and you'll get me closer to me to my goal of raising $[your fundraising goal].
For your caption: Remind the reader about the cool things you're experiencing as a charity runner, what your charity is about, or the impact of where the donations go. Include how simple it is to donate to your charity, whether it’s your link in bio, sending you a Venmo for you to donate on their behalf, or other fundraising events you have coming up.

Fundraising Tips for Next Week
I want to make sure you have enough time to plan out ideas for these fundraising posts. These ideas are meant to give you organic reasons to share your fundraiser!
Here are a few ideas you plan for the week of September 14th:
- Guacamole Day (September 16): We love a good food donation opportunity (and if you recall, July 31 is National Avocado Day). Ask your supporters to Avoca-donate to your charity for Guacamole Day.
- National Cheeseburger Day (September 18): One of the most primal cravings after a run is the post-long-run burger. There is something so satisfying and delicious about the meat and cheese; it's so good! Ask for $12 donations to support this day.
- Talk Like a Pirate Day (September 19): It’s a built-in excuse to post like a swashbuckler (dress in a pirate costume), have some fun, and charm yer donors with a sea-splashed ask.
Here's a few more September ideas so you can start planning your month and read below for ideas for the whole year:
